Apprenticeships

Whether your business is large or small, an apprenticeship offers a practical hands-on solution to filling skills gaps as well as an attractive incentive for recruiting keen and motivated staff.

We can help you to develop your staff with apprenticeship schemes that are funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and which will provide you with fully trained and highly knowledgeable employees.

An apprenticeship is made up of three distinct elements which will provide your employees with all the training they need:

The Technical Certificate provides the skills and knowledge essential to successful employment in your business

The National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) demonstrates that these skills can be put in to practice;

The Key Skills Qualification develops vital employability skills including communication, application of number, information technology, problem solving, working with others and improving individual learning.

Apprentices make a contribution to your business from day one.

Apprentices learn while they work, so their knowledge is up-to-date.

Because most of their training is on the job, the practical skills they gain are the ones that are right for your business.

North Wales Training can offer funded Modern Skills Diploma Training for learners working at Management level.  The Modern Skills Diploma provides opportunities for employed learners to develop skills and knowledge in Management job roles.

Modern Skills Diplomas are available in Management and Care.
